Lumerit Extends College Platform to Chief Learning Officers

CLOs to align corporate learning outcomes to college degrees

San Antonio, TX –-  Lumerit Education announced today the extension of its Central Registrar’s Office™  to corporate Chief Learning Officers (CLOs), an innovative alignment of academic, consumer and corporate learning interests that will help employees complete college degree requirements while meeting their company’s learning and development objectives.

The free service allows CLOs to register their key learning outcomes, development objectives and subject matter curriculum with Lumerit's Global Digital Classroom™, an online platform which contains thousands of different college credit sources for creating customized course-by-course degree plans which consider learning styles, goals, available time, costs, academic major, and other important life situations.

“Prior to the Lumerit there was no national approach to aligning talent, retention and development of employees with college degrees” said Dr. Harry Kantrovich, former chief learning officer of the City of Alexandria, VA. “The ability for CLO’s to customize their specifications for college degree completion across more than 1,000 colleges and universities is a game changing corporate strategy”.

With the Central Registrar’s Office, current as well as prospective employees can construct a course-by-course degree plan for the college of their choice. Degree plans includes courses which are offered through the Lumerit Global Digital Classroom™ that are aligned with academic degree requirements as well as corporate learning and development objectives. “As an advocate for more improved graduation rates and greater transparency in learning outcomes, the Lumerit Scholar program also provides students with the shortest pathway to degree completion along with the alignment of learning outcomes for major corporations,” said Rick Beyer, CEO of Lumerit Education.

“Corporate training and development is a key strategic element for extending competitive position and long-term employee retention,” Beyer explained. “The macro trends are now favoring CLO’s who want a stronger voice in the college degree learning outcomes.”
